Ingredients

  • 1 gallon water
  • 2 oranges (halved, sliced)
  • 1 Tablespoon cloves (whole)
  • 1 capful allspice (whole)
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 Tablespoon black pepper (whole)
  • 6 star anise (whole)
  • 2 cups ginger (fresh)
  • 4 gallons cider

Instructions

  • Combine everything except the cider. Bring to boil, boil covered with 15 min.
  • Add cider. Bring back to boil. Reduce liquid to 4 gallons.
