Pon Pon Chicken

Great cold dish! Peanut and sesame butters, garlic, ginger, hot oil, and Sichuan pepper, over thinly sliced chicken breast.

Ingredients

Step One Ingredients

  • cups peanut butter
  • cups sesame paste (not tahini)
  • ½ cup garlic (chopped, fresh)
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Sichuan pepper

Hot Tea

  • 1¾-2 cups black tea (hot!)

Step Three Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark soy sauce
  • 1 cup light soy
  • ¼ cup sesame oil
  • ¾ cup red wine vinegar
  • 4 cups soybean oil

Instructions

  • Blend all Step One ingredients in Hobart on slow speed. Scrape sides and bottom.
  • Quickly add hot tea to mixture.
  • Mix together the Step 3 ingredients separately, shake well, then add to Step One ingredients. Mix well.

Notes

If too thick or mix does not combine well, add up to 1-2 cups of hot water and blend well, scraping sides and bottom.
