Roasted Salt & Pepper (aka Smokin' Salt)

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup salt (kosher)
  • ¼ cup Sichuan pepper (whole)

Instructions

  • Hot dry wok. Add salt and pepper.
  • Stir together until peppercorns begin to 'pop' and salt is uniform in color.
  • Cool and grind in spice mill.
