Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons oil
  • 2 cups nuts
  • ½ cup sugar
  • tablespoons salt
  • teaspoons cumin
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  • Heat oil over medium in a heavy pot. Add nuts, sprinkle ½ cup sugar.
  • Saute until sugar carmelizes.
  • Remove to heavy metal bowl, toss immediately with salt, cumin, pepper, and 1 T sugar. Store airtight.
