Ingredients
- 3⅙ cups soy sauce
- 3⅙ cups brown sugar
- 5 Tablespoons fish sauce
- 5 cups tamarind liquid (see notes)
- 2½ cups tomato sauce (20 oz)
- 1 cup oyster sauce
Notes
For tamarind liquid, 2 small jars or 1 large jar of concentrate plus enough water to equal 5 cups.
For a tamarind liquid substitute, you can use a 2 pound box of pitted prunes plus 1 cup of lemon juice plus water to equal 5 cups.
