
Pon Pon Chicken
Great cold dish! Peanut and sesame butters, garlic, ginger, hot oil, and Sichuan pepper, over thinly sliced chicken breast. $7.50

Ingredients
Step One Ingredients
- 2¼ cups peanut butter
- 2¼ cups sesame paste (not tahini)
- ½ cup garlic (chopped, fresh)
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Sichuan pepper
Hot Tea
- 1¾-2 cups black tea (hot!)
Step Three Ingredients
- 1 cup dark soy sauce
- 1 cup light soy
- ¼ cup sesame oil
- ¾ cup red wine vinegar
- 4 cups soybean oil
Instructions
- Blend all Step One ingredients in Hobart on slow speed. Scrape sides and bottom.
- Quickly add hot tea to mixture.
- Mix together the Step 3 ingredients separately, shake well, then add to Step One ingredients. Mix well.
Notes
If too thick or mix does not combine well, add up to 1-2 cups of hot water and blend well, scraping sides and bottom.
