Sesame Beef (Lamb) with Asparagus

  • toasted sesame seeds
  • onions
  • asparagus
  • beef
  • 2 Tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • dark soy sauce
  • fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil


  • Coat beef with sesame seeds, about 2T.
  • Stir fry onions and asparagus quickly. Push aside.
  • Add the seed-coated beef. Stir fry until almost cooked through. Reincorporate veggies.
  • Add three "rounds" of water, hoisin, and dark soy and/or fish sauce.
  • Heat to bubbling and sauce coats meat and veggies.
  • Service on rice donut with a 1 teaspoon sesame seed garnish.
