Vietnamese Beef With Shiitakes

Ingredients

Initial Stir Fry Veggies

  • 1 Tablespoon garlic
  • broccoli
  • onions
  • red peppers
  • bamboo shoots
  • baby corn

Spoon Mix

  • ½ teaspoon sambal
  • 1 Tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 dash sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce

Remaining Ingredients

  • steak
  • shiitake (crisp-fried in sesame oil)

Instructions

  • Marinate beef, needs at least 8 hours.
  • Grill steak to desired doneness, slice thing.
  • Oil in wok, stir fry veggies briefly then add the Spoon Mix ingredients in spoon (then add to the stir fry).
  • Serve on a rice donut with veggies in the center, top with beef.
  • Garnish with mushrooms.

  • 1 cup sesame oil
  • ¼ cup light soy
  • cup dark soy sauce
  • ½ cup sherry
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons black pepper

Instructions

  • Steaks should marinate at least 8 hours.
