
Ingredients
Steak Marinade
- 2 8oz steaks
- ½ cup sesame oil
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon dark soy sauce
- ½ cup sherry
- 1½ Tablespoon black pepper
Salad
- 4 cups broccoli (+/-, florets)
- 2 cups pea pods (+/-)
- 1 red pepper (or pimento)
- 1 handful sprouts
- 12 baby corns (halved diagonally)
- 4 cups shiitakes
- Vietnamese Cabbage Salad Dressing
Instructions
Prepare Steak
- Marinate steak overnight. Grill to medium rare, slice thin.
Prepare Salad
- Steam broccoli and pea pods for 2 minutes. Quick chill in ice bath, set aside.
- Roast pepper, slice, set aside.
- Saute mushrooms in hot sesame oil. Salt and pepper to taste.
To Combine
- Mix together all veggies except shiitakes.
- Dress with Vietnamese Cabbage dressing.
- Add sliced steak and sesame seeds. Toss together.
